So it’s been forever since I’ve posted…yet again! I’ve been pretty busy working and stuff, and things on FF haven’t exactly been exciting enough to post about.
Monday we did Dyna - Qufim, and Antaeus dropped 4 100 pieces o.ob So that was pretty cool, too bad Hank has gone missing, otherwise he could’ve put them towards his Aegis. I’m at work so I don’t have the screenshot, but I’ll post it later tonight because it’s so awesome xD
Anyways, been leveling dancer on and off, it’s now level 46 I think? My scholar is also 1k tnl to 67, so hopefully I’ll have that finished soon. I don’t know though, lately playing XI feels like a lost cause since they announced FF14. I’ve been mostly concentrating on raising my black chocobo, Obsidian Shadow. He’s going to win me that Pullus Torque so I can turn into a baby choco! I’ve also been playing the various Aion betas. It releases in September, and I bought the collector’s edition. I’m very pleased with the beta events so far, and I suppose I’ll probably leave XI and play Aion fulltime when it comes out. Hopefully I can get Cheech to come along with me. He’s been playing the beta on my account when I’m working and I think he likes it too, I’ll have to convince him to buy it so we can play together. If only Diablo would come out soon……..

So a few months ago, Square Enix announced on an update that a ’salvage duping’ hack had been fixed and removed from the game. Until that point, I had no idea what the whole duping thing was, but I soon found out it was a way to get more than one drop of the same item for a monster. I remember reading BG forums when everyone started QQing about the hack being fixed:

So everyone laughed and QQ’d about the dupe being fixed, and no one thought anything else of it…until this last Thursday.

Turns out SE decided that they wanted to ban and suspend the players who had been found in use of this exploit. Now I’m pretty against cheating and bots of any sort in the game, but the way SE went about this was…pretty dumb. No one is really sure yet who got perma and who got temp, but many many good players from our linkshell have been hit. So far the list stands at Merona (our shellholder), Blackhatchy, Ichthyos, Komoko, Vilhem/Uchiha, Xerlic, Zeroblade (all leaders), Nicblue, Siveth and Jiyo. Bosco and Sleibhan might have gotten it too, but are so far unconfirmed due to being on break. Others from Titan but not in Karasu were Bagel, Map, Slimm, Valacar, and Edged. We won’t know for sure until tonight/Monday night who is temp and who is perma, but we believe Vilhem, Jiyo, and Nicblue are temporaries. Hopefully everyone will come back to us, but if not, they will be sorely missed. Merona and every leader has changed and shaped Karasu to be what it is today, and I have faith that even in the wake of these bannings, we will be able to keep our standards high and continue dominating Titan. Komoko has already started playing on Unholy, thanks to Wolfe for that, and she is pretty excited to regear and get back in the game! (Not like much regearing needs to be done…Unholy already has a ridill) I have confidence that we can persevere and rebuild.

So turns out it has been a while since I last posted…over a month to be exact! Mid December my RL finals for class were taking place, and then the holidays came around so I didn’t have much time to play. Thankfully, I’m back to being un-busy now! Is that even a word? haha
I’m really liking the new stronghold invasion stuff that Xerlic is now heading. I don’t think I really want any of the drops, but the fights are fun and one of the mobs had a sparkly shell, I’ll have to take a pic and post it next time we do that BC. I’m trying to get back into Limbus since I need some more ABCs and some mats for whm, smn and brd. I have zero +1 AF or relic equips, and I’d like to get some of those.
Not much else to report on. Cheech is out of town until Saturday, snowboarding in Aspen without me qq. I’m at work, bored as hell, and have a rather large amount of homework to get done! Hopefully I can get it done before 6 so I can play for a couple hours before I go pick Cheech’s roommate up from the airport >.> He was on the trip with Cheech and the first day into snowboarding he hurt his shoulder pretty bad, and is now cutting his trip short and coming home tonight so he can go see a surgeon. That sucks so much! >.< Anyways, ’til next time!

So it’s been a while since I posted! Actually, it’s been a while since I’ve been able to play lots like I used to. I have finals coming up in a little over a week, but then I’ll have a nice chunk of time to play like a maniac again. That’ll make Cheech happy for sure! He always complains when I don’t play XI 
I did a ZNM fight for the first time in a while the other day, and I really really liked it. I’ll definitely have to keep up with those, and hopefully get me some new WHM shields along the way.
I recently obtained some Cleric’s feet, completing my first relic armor set. I’m 4/5 on both BRD and SMN, so hopefully I will get those pieces too sometime soon.

Cheech finally got to use up all his feathers and grant us access to Odin’s chamber for the umpteenth time last night. Things went really well for the most part, minus Merona’s death because Odin sux. Decent drops too. I’m not sure who got what, but I know for sure that Seeks got an E.Body for a really low amount, because everyone was loling over it in LSchat.
Anyways, it’s been quite a while since I’ve posted last, and I figured I would update! First, a big thanks to Merona for letting me host this blog on Karasu’s own database. A few of us Karasu members now have our own blog linked to Karasu’s site, pretty sweet!
Moving on, I’ve obtained quite a few things that I’ve wanted! I now own a pair of Herald’s gaiters, and was able to complete a Marduk body piece from Salvage, as well as Marduk hands. I also started school again, so my play time is wayyyyy down. Although if I remember correctly, Dynamis - Bastok is tonight! Hoorj! So it’s been a while (again) since my last update. Give me a break, I’ve been really busy! IRL I spent a weekend moving to Michigan! Anyways, I’ve finally been lucky enough to land in Karasu again =) It’s been a hard road getting there, but it’s finally been accomplished! Mostly thanks to Cheech-taru for keeping me on my toes and not letting me give up. I also owe the whole linkshell, for giving me this second chance to prove myself.
I look forward to many many HNMs in the future, as well as lots of inappropriate linkshell chat! I’ve recently taken up Scholar, since Dancer has lost some of its fun. I plan on staticing with Cheech(dancer) and Daffelz(samurai) on the weekends. It will be lots of fun =) Anyways, back to camping KB! More updates to come in the future (hopefully sooner rather than later)!

So recently I decided I’d like to level dancer! And Cheech said “Hey, I think I’ll do that too!” So now were going to duo together as something fun to do when we’re bored. I got to level 8, and then PL’d him to 8. He looks so cute when he’s stabbing things/dancing!
