Last few chances at the ultimate goal of 5/5 DNC afv2 have been quite unsuccessful. A few nodrops and one lost to the trashed section it has been quite frustrating. Hopefully things will wind up in my favor eventually till then lets look at other nice things that had happen thoughout the uneventfulness.
I tried my hand at saving the Astral Candy, really more of a waste of time that should’ve been left to the JP to clean up. But least the scenery is nice.
Lately I have been leveling THF to further achieve victory in my crusade and it has been moving along quite well (its 64 now :o). The Looking For Party times are screwed up and cuts into events but I’ll manage.
When I hit 75 I’ll let you know what I’ll do next. tillnexttime~
I’ve always wondered why we had blogs that we never update. Its like some sort of flavor of the month don’t you think? Anyway I decided I shall bring back mines to life. Giving it my rantings and what I did and whatnot we all enjoy.
During all this I will give a summery of what I’ve done for the past 2 months.
-I played RO for awhile then it got boring
-I played WoW for some time then it got boring too
-I start getting more active in FFXI
-Dancer AFv2 get released and got screwed over -twice- on body and legs to a recently dinged 75 and a 65. But I did get hands… yay…?
-We get another serverhop linkshell equiped with a nice packetbot, sure they can throw a punch at boring RoZ HNM, but they sure can fail hard at everything else.
-Oh, I got Warcraft3 and fooled around with Dota. Never really knew why I got it, I guess it was just random pickings.
That’s about it, its nothing amazing. No pictures cause I’m lazy as fuck. Hopefully in the year of 2009 I actually do get better and enjoy FFXI like I did in 2005. Maybe when the items I desire o so much fall in my lap once more I’ll pick up the pace and give hell huhuhuhu.
Oh! I almost forgot, the new word this year will be “TRASHED” cause thats how I feel alot about some places where loot goes~ Happy New Year!
While tonight’s Dyna-Tav was going on. I decided to skip cause I didn’t feel like dying, BLM hat (-75pt), WAR legs-1 (-2.25pt (fuck could’ve used those :|)), COR hat (-5.25, freelot?), and Hydra Harness (-25pt). I kinda dozed up from here waiting for the La Vaule BCNM group to get here. Quite impressive for our first Dyna-Tav to actually put out, too bad I didn’t get those legs; but atleast Moko won’t get an Ebody or Ridill anytime soon kekekeke.
AAAAAAAAANYWAY….
I finally got to meet up with Alahseidra on iRO, whom pretty much pushed the idea of playing in the first place, is full of D:’ing over the fact I blew pass her by about 15 levels. I suppose cleaning up the house is more important than cleaning up zombies and skeles for hours and hours to get a Damascus. Speaking of such, with the help of her convience to have Discount lvl’d up I get to keep some of my hard earned zeni :o! So moderate thx to her, and I’ll stop my Thief for now and trump pass her with mah Merchant harharhar.
Oh, as I was writing this…. WAR body drops (-2.25pt). What a fine night to do Tav.
Today was quite a long day. First, Fafnir decides it wants to be epic with a grand total of 5 Spike Flails, 2 Call for Helps, 1 Rage, and was pretty much up for over Three Hours.
Theres alot more pictures but I just wanted to point out. I totally called the drops.
Then Cerberus pops up alittle while later and we made a mad dash over and then about 40-50% in Tiamat also pops so we had to push our asses hard to take it down and of course we did. Luckily, we got Tiamat too! Smooth kill, dem Gaiters dropped for once.
Nyzul…. got shit done, but dropwise still sucked. One of the members in the static was one tag short so we couldnt do a boss floor in this week’s climb. We -ALMOST- made a 10floor run but we got shitted on with a bad pudding/slime kill all floor and barely made it out with less than 10secs on the clock. Maybe next run PLD and WAR weapon will drop… or I’m gonna be smashing something. -_-;
In iRO news, I died a shitton of times, but I guess I made enough progress sense I found out I shot ahead some of the lsmates. So maybe I’ll take some time off or just slow down my leveling for em to catch up.
Finally got my Ebody uncursed, so how does it look?

I got my shit started on iRO today too.
So far its been torture to my patience due to being used to the higher rates. After about a few hours I switched back to some instant accomplishment, its starting to get slow but all is still good.
Other than all that. Shits boring at asual. bbl tomorrow with nyzul news.
Today has been quite a ordinary day. Work sucked, time is sort, etc etc etc. Some things were great actually other than the recent Blog openings and such.
As you’ve seen the Karasu frontpage update(HOLYSHIT IT HAPPED) I nabbed my self an ebody abj from Odin while all the others that had their eye on it missed 1-2 past Einherjars(Missing Einherjar is serious buisness!). While I wait for good olde Aeterna to get back on so I can get this made and actually wear it, I’ll be sitting in Whitegate in my Shadow Breastplate still. They all say its useless but its still a sexy Byrnie+4 if you ask me.
As far as any other things outside FFXI, I’ve been playing Ragnarok Online off a private server and been treking it to Lord knight; just 1 more Joblvl to go!! but I need to sleep.
I will also be hopping on the bandwagon with 1-2 other Karasu Memebers and start playing on iRO’s new free server Valkyrie, so lets hope good comes from that.
